Pikelets ...

I think pikelets are a great snack or breakfast.  I've always struggled to form nice round ones in the skillet...

I washed out an empty tomato sauce bottle, made the batter then filled the bottle.

I used Beth's very easy recipe here ...

Nice round blobs...

Success!

I like maple syrup on mine but lemon and sugar bring back childhood memories and I also like them cold, spread with butter and apricot jam...
Oh, behave!

    Hey Joolz, Loved your trip.........
    was out at a fancy smancy dinner last night.......and I forgot to take pics but I was thinking OMG Joolz has fancy food like this...Was wondering what you would have thought of it.........OMG it was so nice......when I find the menu I'll share it with you......
