The ta dah moment!  I'm really pleased with it. I used it last night to keep me warm while I zapped my sore neck with my Dr TENS machine. My neck is very sore after spending Sunday bent over hand sewing.

You attach the sticky pads to the affected area then choose the frequency of electric current to course through your muscles. It really is good.

So it is a finish of sorts, although the hard work was already done for me.  It did challenge me to work out the best way to do it.  I think if I ever finish that strip quilt top, I'll be getting someone to do the rest for me!

Finally, my inspiration for the throw - Kath and Kim!

Our spring weather has gone and its crisp here this morning after some good rain last night.

Finishing off the throw rug ...

Attatching the last of the binding...

I thought I'd show you some of the intricate hand quilting my mother did on this quilt...this is the reverse side.

Pinning the binding ready to hand stitch...

Lots of hand stitching! I have worked out why I love baking more than sewing! Its not nearly as painful!
Fact: it take 3 minutes for a pricked finger to stop bleeding!  This happened many times!

Really yummy!

I will finish the quilt off by top sewing the binding, this afternoon. I need to get some ecru coloured thread as I dont think I have enough on the spool to do it in one go!
