In and around Renmark...

We visited the Twenty Third Street Distillery...

...and tasted some gins...

We bought a bottle of their signature gin and a bottle of lemon infused gin...

Next we went to the Wilkadene Woolshed Brewery and had a beer and a 'hard lemonade' (8% alcohol).

We bought marinated pork spare ribs and Gus barbecued them for lunch.

We spent the rest of the arvo just chilling and used the pool...

Amazing sunset!

I made flat breads to go with the curry I made...

A nice end to the day!

Ramco Point to Paringa...

Friday 21st April, 2017 ... sorry I took a while to get back...

We were lucky to not have any more rain after mid evening on Thursday. If it had continued, we would've been stuck for sure. The track had dried out quite well, apart from the big puddles.

Ah, we have loved the peace up here!

Frypan toast and beans for breakfast!

We got out with minimal slip and sliding and headed for Renmark. Along the way, we stopped at Banrock Station, Kingston on the Murray, for lunch.

I had the lamb loin and mash...delicious!

And a wine, of course!

Gus had thebarramundi, also very good!

Time to make tracks!

We arrived at our luxury accomodation where we have the next two nights...

Great views of the river...

At 5 o'clock we were taken for a sunset cruise in a gondola by old mate John. A local, full of knowledge, we had an enjoyable 1 and half hours on the water...

Stunning, eh?

Back home, Gus cooked a chicken roast roll for dinner. Big day!
