I recently bought a Dicer Express - on sale in Woolworths for $25.
~
I tested it out on some carrot - it made short work of it!

Sort of small batons, just right to go in my Chicken Pot pies. I used Beth's recipe

Always the veggie smuggler, I added celery, carrot and mushrooms to the recipe.
~
I fried off some speck then added in the leek, carrot, garlic and celery and fried them off until tender. Then followed the recipe adding the chicken, stock and cream etc.

Served with a simple salad, they were very delicious. Another recipe printed off and filed for later use.
Cheers - Joolz xx
Yummo Joolz. I did Donna Hays Chicken and Leek pie over the weekend. Nearly as nice as yours I think! cheers Wendy
ReplyDeleteMore lovely food, Joolz! I bought a cheap version of the Nicer Dicer from one of those demonstrators in a shopping centre and I think it was $20 or so. It does a pretty good job but sometimes the carrots are a challenge if I don't put them in the correct position. I hadn't seen the Dicer Express in Woolworths.
ReplyDeleteThe initials made me smile. :)
ReplyDeleteYum...
ReplyDeletelook mouth watering
How easy was that?! I was grating beetroot the other day and I thought I need something like that gadget. I had gloves on but I still managed to get a hole in the glove and had a purple finger haha.
