Today we did the Gordon River World Heritage cruise aboard The Lady Jane II. Unfortunately, as you can see, the weather turned nasty for us and Macquarie Harbour was reduced to grey, murky, choppy water. Views of the Gordon River and gorges were clouded in mist and heavy rain. Luckily, the cruise staff were very attentive and we had some lovely food and a wine or two! We did get to visit Hell's Gate and Sarah Island where convicts were incarcerated in horrible conditions during the 1820's. Quite a history lesson but a bit hard to take in when it's pouring rain! Tomorrow we head for Hobart...

The weather is the only thing that can't be controlled by the cruise lines. It looks like you are having a grand time, though. :)
