We left Cradle Mountain this morning, headed for the quiet little fishing village of Strahan on the West Coast of Tasmania. We travelled through little towns, Tullah, Rosebery and Zeehan. This the view of Macquarie Harbour. Weather is just perfect for sight seeing. We've had a drive around the area and bought some Huon Pine pieces which the area is famous for. Tomorrow we are doing a cruise of the Gordon River where we will see 2000 year old Huon pine trees, visit Sara Island which was a penal colony in the 1820's and do a rainforest walk.
