This is a very simple recipe from Taste.com ... combine pineapple juice, tomato sauce, soy sauce and garlic to make a marinade...
~
~
Prepare the vegetables to be skewered...
~
~
Thread chicken and veggies onto the skewers (you could also add mushrooms) ... we had left over salad from Friday night so we just refreshed that a bit...
~
Fire up the barbecue and grill the skewers... (next time we reckon we need to boil up the leftover marinade and thicken it with corn flour for a sauce to pour over the skewers)...

Dinner is served! A simple meal made special by the fact that my dear hubby made it (he even set the table!). Does your husband/partner cook?

Those kebabs look delicious...and no my hubby doesn't cook but I can't complain as he does lots of other things, cooking is just not his thing. Thanks for the heads up on the cooking shows I will watch out for the. Love your comforter, bed bath and table is one of my favourite shops to meander in when I'm in Adelaide. As you can see I'm catching up on blog reading!
ReplyDeleteYum these look so good! I am lucky, my hubby cooks nearly all the time, my family don't think I cook as well!!! I do most of the desserts and baking and yes I do realise how lucky I am. I am cooking tonight tho, trying a new recipe, sweet thai chicken curry!
ReplyDeleteNope, mine does not cook at all. We once were discussing a elderly couple who died just a few months apart. My hubs said that if anything happened to me, he would probably follow soon after. I guffawed and said well of course he would, because he'd starve to death!
