WA - Day 4

Wednesday 10/2

Today we left Dunsborough but unfortunately, Gus is a bit unwell.  I've known him for 34 years and this is about the 2nd time I've seen him vomit!  He was up at 4am feeling very ill. The girls went into town and consulted a chemist and got something to settle his stomach.

We packed up and we headed to Fremantle with me driving.

Lunch today was at Maccas!

We got to the ferry terminal with plenty of time to spare.  It was only a little 25 minute trip across.  We sat inside in the air conditioning and Gus sat outside to get fresh air. He is still struggling.

This is our beach front accomodation.  Premium view...but quite spartan but clean.

Gus was flat out on the bed so us girls went and shopped and organised dinner. At Aristo's you can 'book a chook' which is a roast chicken, Greek salad and a fresh, out of the oven baguette for $22 - pick up after 5.30 - excellent! The supermarket is fully stocked with fresh fruit and veg and anything you might need.

I was craving fresh fruit so I bought lots to make fruit salad. Yum!

Kirby even found Canasta cards that she was wanting so we sat learning and playing that with a nice Rosé and nibbles before dinner. Gus had Salada crackers.

Old mate was back snooping around...

We are off riding Segways tomorrow then maybe hiring bikes for a ride around parts the island.  I'm hoping I can hire an electric one! 😎
