I did a purge recently, and then had to go shopping. Like you no jeans, 2 t-shirts, and nothing nice enough for church. After 10 items covered in paint into the trash I stopped counting. And to think I went out in public like that sometimes.
Your closet looks great....are you going shopping now? blessings, jill
Good to know I am not alone. I am one of those people who would rather spend an hour food shopping in a supermarket than buy clothes. I get quite uptight when I have a function coming up and I need an outfit (that's about to happen soon because we are going to Sydney for a black tie event!).
I have plenty to get me through summer now but once the cooler weather hits, I need to find suitable pants for work and something for casual weekend. Jeans just don't fit me because I am a 14-16 around the waist but my bum and legs say 10-12 and they don't make jeans like that! Sigh!
Doesn't it feel liberating to do it? And greast that someone will benefit from the purge as well.
I share your dread of clothes shopping and avoid it like the plague. Luckily we have eitht months of winter here, so I can hide my shabbier clothes under a thick coat :-)

Well done! :)
ReplyDeleteI have been purging here too! Feels great :)
ReplyDeleteMy declutter is still in the pipeline. I hope you don't get a cold spell where you live and need some jeans. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking about having a purge too Joolz. Doesn't feel like there will ever be a need for cool weather clothes again at the moment.
