Bananas are currently about $14.00/kilo here so I cannot let these over-ripe ones go to waste! They will be perfect for a banana cake or banana bread.

You have just reminded me that I still have a shelf full of frozen bananas in the freezer from our own trees. Haven't made banana bread for a while so maybe I should defrost one of those packs - in fact I'm going to do it right now!
