(Joolz' Sloppy Joes)
Added: The Sloppy Joes were really delicious! I cut back on the chilli and didn't use any Tabasco sauce and they were still nice and sweet and sour/spicy. We'll definitely have them again (you could have them in taco shells or tortilla wraps or like san choy bow in lettuce cups).

Tonight, I am going to try this recipe for Sloppy Joes by Pioneer Woman Ree - from
Tasty Kitchen.

Sloppy Joes are not something you see in Australia so I will give them a go - and try and keep them low fat too!

Joolz, you make sloppy joes look amazing! And I love them! it has been a LONG time since I made them..I am going to try your recipe!
ReplyDeleteThat recipe has a lot more ingredients than the one I use....but Sloppy Joes are a regular at our place.
ReplyDeleteMy recipe came to me when I had to review a companion recipe book that went with a novel I was also reviewing.
My mom made sloppy joes occasionally and I've always liked them, but it's been a while! Think I'll make some soon they sound so good and all of Ree's recipes are great!
ReplyDeleteIs your creamy mash, potatoes or turnips? Couldn't tell, but I love both!
I have never made them either, let me know how they go.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, that looks yummy!
