... say Grace on Christmas Day?
~
I have this verse:
Thank you for the food before us,
the family and friends beside us
and the love between us.
Amen
~
Just wondering...
I heard this lovely saying on the Today show yesterday -
"Christmas is the love in the room,
when you stop opening your presents...
and listen.

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and New Year!
ReplyDeleteI think it is lovely and I know it is because you do everything so lovely Joolz.
ReplyDeleteThis is what I think of when I think of grace: (Common in UK religious schools.) For what we are about to receive, may the Lord make us truly thankful. Amen.

We do, but we do it at every meal. We don't have anything we say each time, but it encompasses the sentiments you have posted. Lovely picture,

We sometimes say grace. I guess we should more often, but we miss more than we hit on that one. We did say grace on Thanksgiving when the whole family was there. It was very nice and reminded me of Thanksgiving when my parents were still with us.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas,
Lois
