Um, now I must explain why the local constabulary has his arm around me ... I had just done a random breath test ... and blew .08 !!! (Our laws state that you must be under .05 % blood/ alcohol to drive a vehicle so I would have lost my licence had I driven and got breatho'd). Lucky we were booked to go back to Robe on the bus that is provided to a lucky few!
The police set up their van and you could have a test to see what you blew. I think it's good to make you aware of drink driving at a venue like this. Well done, SAPOL!

Having said that we were booked to go home on the bus .... we missed it! Luckily our dear friend Alex's sister, Bernie volunteered to drive us back. Betty and I (above) had a lovely day sampling some great wines (Cape Jaffa Wines Sauvignon Blanc, CJ Unwooded Chardonnay, CJ Le Lune Rose de Syrah - a biodynamic wine, cultivated and harvested according to the phases of the moon.

Er, on our way home, Angus was getting a bit amorous! Down, boy!

Back in Robe, we stayed at
Ann's Place, a very smart & comfortable B&B. The sea was like glass. I've never seen it to calm and flat. We had nibbles and drinks on our little patio.

As the sun set behind me, the bay took on lovely hues of pink over the mirror sea.

The big silver ball in this pic is a sea mine which washed up on shore many years ago. I've liked the Robe District Council site
here for more information on Robe.

All in all, we had a lovely Sunday at the Festival, even though it was so hot.
