LAMB & COURGETTE KOFTAS
2 courgettes (small zucchini), grated finely and squeezed of liquid
2 tblspns sesame seeds, toasted
250 gms minced lamb
2 spring onions (I used red spanish onion)
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 tblspn fresh mint, chopped
1/2 teaspoon ground mixed spice
2 tblspns dry breadcrumbs
1 egg, lightly beaten
salt and pepper, to taste
vegetable oil, for shallow frying

Add all ingredients except oil and mix well. Form into small balls or patties, shallow fry in oil until golden and cooked through. Serve with crisp salad and to with tahini sauce.

TAHINI SAUCE
250 mls Greek style yoghurt
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tblspn tahini paste
2 tspns lemon juice and a little rind
salt and pepper
