Day 8 - Off to work after laundry catch-up...

(rosemary and seaside daisy have gone mad in my garden)
*
Not much to report today. After being away for the weekend, there was plenty of laundry to do and annoyingly, it rained on and off all morning. I stayed home and got most of it done before heading in to work.
*
Day 8 - Breakfast - 2 slices Burgen Soy-lin toast, scrape of Flora light marg, 2
poached eggs. Cup of coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.
*
Snack - 8 prunes and later 4 rye cruskits with vegemite, no marg.
*
Lunch - Multigrain sandwich with ham, lettuce, carrot, beetroot, cucumber, drizzle of
mayo, slice of cheese. 1 banana.
*
Dinner - Shepherds pie topped with mashed potato. Comforting winter food.
*
Early to bed, I had lights out at 9pm.

  2. You are doing well Joolz with your challenge.

I have also challenged myself and since last Tuesday have gone from 73.5 to 71.8. Have cut out dairy, sugar and red meat. My dinner time meal is now smaller (side plate size). I have only walked once for 4kms in this time. Am going in a minute for another brisk walk.

I have switched to low cholesterol products while using the liver cleansing diet book as a guide. Also using as much organic produce as possible(Don't see why it should cost more to be healthy)

Keep it up, you keep me motivated.

ps I haven't got to the newsagent yet to check out those books.

  8. Joolz! You are an inspiration to me knowing we're all doing this together. And your stance on plastics is great! We'll be doing a month that talks about storage and plastics and where plastic show up, and improving those areas, too. Maybe you could share your perspective? :)

The only thing I would encourage you to do is try and cut out the margarine and switch to real butter if you can. So much healthier for you, especially if you can find or afford the organic variety. You might find this article interesting about just that, especially with your spot on management of plastics in your life.
