I had a lovely Mothers Day with both my girls.I received this lovely box of goodies - a satin nightie, a silver bracelet, Haigh's Chocolates and
a copy of the Lake House DVD. I visited my mother in the morning with the girls then she was off to have lunch with my two sisters.
It was a good day for a paddock fire as there was no wind so Gus built a fire and we tried out his camp barbeque grill plate.
* We have an old washing machine tub on legs which holds wood for a camp fire.
*
Steaks set to sizzle over the coals and fried onions.

Sounds like a good day, that fire looks like fun.....why do kids have to have that much tomato sauce? mine are the same.......
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great Mother's Day. Even though it looks to be a tad cold.
ReplyDeleteI spent my afternoon up at Quorn with my eldest daughter, drinking cups of tea and eating banana cake.
Happy Mothers Day! I love the new wallpaper and that Kitty Clock!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteAhhh... it looks like you had a lovely, relaxing day - and you deserved it!
ReplyDeleteEverything looked perfect... except that steak! LOL! Are you sure my Old Guy wasn't there? That's what his steak usually ends up looking like!
Oh.. before I forget, I made "Joolz Mexican Potato Casserole" for dinner the other night, and we loved it!
Thanks for sharing it!
I like tomato ketchup sandwiches, bread spread with nice cold butter first.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very Autumnal there. Is it really that cold?
love, Angie, xx
