I feel like a bit of a mug....

Pip, over at http://www.restisnotidleness.blogspot.com/ had been on a site, asking about your favourite mug/s. I think I may have a mug fetish! I have many favourite mugs and guaranteed, if you come for coffee, you will get it in a blue and white one!
*
These four are from Wedgewood Home Collection
(L-R) Blue Jug Collage, Indigo, Blue Plate Collage, Indigo stripe
*
These are Queens China in (L-R) Victorian Calico, Tonquin, Albertine and Classical.
(Classical is missing its handle but I couldn't bear to throw it out)
*
These two are from Spode.
(L-R) Geranium and Blue Rose
(Again, Blue Rose lost its handle - dishwasher accident - but I couldnt throw it out)
* This has a brand called Embellish, I have some other pieces in this blue work.
Anyone getting bored yet? No? Then I'll continue...
*
This is Maxwell & Williams - Antique Blue.
I must try and track down a teapot to match. These are really
inexpensive and we use these day to day.
*
I bought this Spode mug in London in late 2000, after the dear Queen Mother had had her 100th birthday.
*
It is kept in my china cabinet.
*
We visited Harrods in Knightsbridge. We only had a few hours to spend there but could have spent a full day or more. We got lost. I don't use this one either.
*
This is not the most fascinating post I've done but there ain't much shaking at our house at the moment. Unless you'd like to see my laundry?? Apologies, folks!
*
Caroline at http://www.caroline-thesimplethings.blogspot.com/ has been showing us around the area where she lives and she asks "Why do you live where you live?".
*
I'm off to take some pictures of our town and surrounding areas.
Have a nice weekend all,
Cheers - Joolz

  3. Hi Cathy & Joolz I hope you do a post of where you all live. I will be looking forward to it. I must say the place on my blog I posted about is just under an hour away but wanted to show my international readers the general area, kinda like an hour in each direction if you know what I mean. Thank you for posting a link to me Joolz. When you post your part of the world I'll send the mob in your direction. LOL
