Adelaide came alive on Sunday with the Clipsal 500 V8 Supercar race being held in perfect conditions. 'Ford took the crown - Jamie Whincup took the flag ahead of Holden's Will Davison as runner up.

This is a view of a man's hat that he had painstakenly modelled into the Clipsal track, complete with cars, drivers, officials and all the bends and twists of the track. I snuck up close behind him (shadowing) and took the photo without him knowing. Lol! it was very cool.*

We watched the finish on TV. I'm not a lover of watching it on tv but it would have been a blast to see it in real life. Lucky you!

ReplyDeleteIt makes me chuckle sometimes when hubby has his holden gear on and drives his 4wd Ford courier, and my car, a ford falcon and to top it off he is restoring a ford zephyr!! What's that tell ya.
We had a car show here on the weekend before Clipsal and Rick Kelly was there mixing amongst the crowd. Was a good day if you like to look at cars loving restored by their owners.
