Actually he will be smoking one and my son-in-law will be deep frying one in a vat of peanut oil! I'll be making mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole which has a streusel topping of brown, sugar, butter and flour and chopped pecans! Yummmm!!! Youngest daughter is making the green bean casserole, and I'm making corn pudding and my grandmother's recipe for cornbread dressing (stuffing) and giblet gravy. Cranberries too of course!<br />I love Pioneer Woman's recipes--I watch her on the Food Network at daughter's house cause we don't have cable now. Went to 8 yr. old grandson's school yesterday--the kids had a program where some were dressed as turkeys, pilgrims and Indians! A soup lunch followed. So much fun! Benjamin's part was reading a prayer! Just wondering if y'all have a version of stuffing? Northerers here make white bread dressing and Southerers are known for cornbread dressing.
