I had mine out in the doctor's surgery back in the 1950s :-) I think the hospital operating theatre in our small town was being painted or something like that at the time. I went straight home in the Ambulance and was treated to ice cream for every meal. Now I believe patients are given dry toast but that might be a furphy.
