Start of a new week...and weighing in!

I’m just a bit pleased with myself!  I have increased the speed on my walk and have improved by nearly 2.5 minutes!

I have also achieved my FitPoints target.  The Fitbit is great at tracking that for me!

Yesterday, we tackled our shed! OMG, there was a load of rubbish in there.  We got ruthless and tossed lots of crap, a whole big ute load which went out to our local waste recovery centre. I didn’t do much of the work, apart from cleaning items (covered in dust and cobwebs - ugh!) and making the choice to chuck or keep.  Gus did all the heavy work and is very stiff and sore this morning.

This nearly went on the ute pile....
One treasure I found was this tapestry fire screen that my mother worked.  I am pretty sure it is older than me as I think it came into town when we moved from our farm when I was five.  You would stand it in front of the fireplace during warmer months when the fire wasn’t lit.  A real bit of Australiana!

Lots of hard work by Gus, but things are back in their place.  We found two good suitcases that we last used in 2010 that are in perfect condition - we replaced the orange garbags which had partly disintegrated so they stay clean until we use them in September again!

A snack break mid afternoon...fresh fruit salad and yoghurt!

Someone at our IGA has a sense of humour!

Gus cooked a chook for dinner - called Tipsy Chicken because the marinare had bourbon in it...
~
That is caramelisation, not burnt...

I only had breast meat with no skin, half a baked potato and my homemade coleslaw had no cheese it.  The zucchini, tomato and onion bake didn’t have cheese either.  A yummy dinner!

On Friday, I saw a mouse skitter under my fridge...found him this morning! I really do think we need a cat!

Now for my weigh in....

Start weight - 20/02/18 ... 86.0 kgs
Current weight - 12/03/18 ... 82.9 kgs
Loss of 3.1 kgs in 3 weeks
😍
Cheers - Joolz 💋

  1. well done, I love my Fitbit. I post every month end what I have walked and what I have lost weight wise. Also remind everyone mid month to keep up the walking. My goal is to walk 100 miles a month during 2018.
