We bought a camper!

When we got back to Adelaide after trip, we went to the Caravan and Camping Lifestyle Show..

We bought a camper just like this one!
~
This is a demo model.  We get to choose the lounge upholstery colour and bench top in our new one.
It has a little kitchen with gas hotplates, drawers and cupboards, sink with hot/cold water, fridge and there's even a Porta-loo...
~
...a lounge and table (not shown)...
~
A king-sized bed!
~
View from the bed...
~
Three steps to camping comfort!
~
There is even an outdoor camp kitchen shelf where Gus can cook on the BabyQ...
~
It is a 4WD camper so it can go off road, down rough tracks and over the sand dunes...the adventures will indeed begin! She'll be all packed up so we can hitch her up and go!

We will pick her up in Sydney in July!  Eeep!

  3. **Someone** disregarded the polite sign that said, 'Please, do not climb on bed.' LOL

I foresee many fun trips in your future!

    1. Ok, eagle eyes! Haha, the salesman did allow us to lie on the bed to see if Gus fitted in length and we did remove our shoes! Lol! Gotta try before you buy!

  7. I have always wanted a camper! I think at my age I am just done with tents and washing out of a pot of water and walking in the dark with a flashlight to go to the potty after dark before bedtime! I will get my camper someday! I WILL!

    1. Lovely to see you back, Linda. You disappeared for a while - what was the other blog called?
Yes, this will make camping a lot cosier and more comfortable for us, especially as we are on the wrong side of 50.
