Pineapple huli huli chicken wings...

This is a delicious recipe for sticky chicken wings...

There is a slight mistake in this recipe where steps 2 and 3 are the same instead of describing how to make the marinade for the wings...

Another thing - I used apple juice (cloudy) instead of real pineapple juice...

Place all ingredients for the wings listed except the paprika and wings, in a saucepan and stir to combine until just bubbling away. Let sauce thicken slightly...

Sprinkle with paprika on both sides then brush on the sauce...
~
Place on a paper lined tray then bake until well browned and tender. 
The recipe says 25 minutes but mine were more like 45 minutes! I like them so the bones just pop out!

While the chicken is cooking, make the pineapple salad.  I added some lettuce mix and mango in with everything else listed. For the lime dressing, I added a teaspoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of castor sugar so it wasnt too tart.

Delicious and definitely a new favourite!
