Banana Choc Chip Muffins ...

It's amazing how something so gross as a brown, squishy over-ripe banana that is way past eating can be used to make something so delicious as these muffins!  They'll be nice with a cuppa tonight.
~
I used this easy recipe found HERE.  It makes 12 big muffins or probably 15 smaller ones.

We are off to our favourite beach spot and we are camping glamping in Ruby. We plan to have pizzas cooked in our Weber BabyQ - Gus bought a pizza stone to fit in it.  I'll let you know if it works or not.
~
We plan to make:
Prawn, red onion, chilli and tomato
Barbecue chicken, spinach and bocconcini cheese
Supreme with the works - bacon, salami, mozarella, anchovies,
olives, onion, mushroom, capsicum, tomato and cheese
Margherita - tomato, basil and cheese
~
I hope the weather fines up a bit, because it's overcast at the moment.
~
What are you up to for the weekend??

Cheers - Joolz

  1. I love making banana muffins and cakes with dead bananas. Have you hear of dead vegetable soup? I can highly recommend it. :)
    Enjoy your glamping.

  2. Well we certainly aren't glamping it here. I have been to a Girls Night in fundraiser for breast cancer that was actually an afternoon tea. Now I am trying to decide what to have for dinner, I want Singapore noodles and no one else here feels like it, so as I am the sole cook I rule (in my dreams!!!). So I'm having the noodles, daughter having ham and mushroom omlette and husband buying something at work. See I told you it wasn't as exciting as glamping!! Louise
ps I also get to do the ironing, the excitment is to much for me LOL.
