Setting sail ...

We boarded The Spirit of Tasmania and sailed at 7.30pm. We are not sure if it was a rough crossing or smooth.... it felt rough to us! Very glad we had a cabin so we could lie and sleep, although I didn't sleep much!

The crossing is 429 kilometers and we were cruising at 23 knots. We departed
at 7.30pm and arrived at Devonport at about 5.45am.

  4. Have a fantastic trip, my husband and I did this trip about 11 years ago before kids, we went around the whole island, bed and breakfasting in amazing historical towns...the driving was a little hairy, but Tasmania is one place I would love to go back to with the kids...
