Picture perfect ...

This was our view looking out over Dove Lake with Cradle Mountain in the background. We were really excited to see snow on the mountain and on the ground and along the roadside. They had fresh falls on the weekend. We hadn't ever touched snow before so Gus had fun throwing a few snowballs at me! The weather is chilly but sunny so we are quite comfy. We have a nice little wilderness cottage as our accomodation tonight. I think we are in for an early night tonight after not much sleep last night.  I have already had a snooze while we were driving along today!

  1. Snow!! We are in northern NSW and today we were in high 20's and shorts, I can only dream, I keep telling my husband we need to move to Tassie for summer. (I hate summer here). We certainly do live in a country of diverse weather. Louise

  3. Magnificent view! I was in Tassie 26 years ago but never went to Cradle Mountain.
