I made up this "Cookies in a Jar" mix in about 5 minutes and even printed off the label and recipe too. This would make a great 'teacher' present for kids to give their favourite teacher.The recipe is from Taste.com here. I have several 200gm Moccona coffee jars and they are the ideal size and have a glass stopper lid which seals really well.

Kirby has a few Kris Kringle gifts to give so I made some Cherry Shortbreads (adding green cherry for the holly leaves)...~
Crunchy chocolate biscuits, white chocolate and crushed candy canes. Very easy and so effective.~
These are all bagged up to go to Adelaide tomorrow for her. I am sure they will be enjoyed.

ReplyDeleteThe jars of mixes are a great idea aren't they? I made 'brownie bars in a jar' for friends a few years ago and they were very well received. Last year I did muesli but I'm thinking of actually baking something this year for people! If I run out of time I have a great recipe for a chai tea mix I found at a blog that I may do for a few friends. Those candy cane cookies look great too - I'm sure they are going to be enjoyed!
