So proud!

Kirby has just completed her Bachelor of Marketing (Management) and has one exam to sit later this month, just before her 21st birthday. She has produced exceptional grades throughout her degree.
Out of the blue, last week she was asked to submit her CV to apply for a Media Assistant position with a leading city media company, by the Program Director at her School of Marketing. This is a fantastic opportunity and Kirby emailed through her CV and it was in turn, forwarded immediately to the company.
She was granted an interview for Thursday at 1pm. The interview went very well and she was called back to meet the CEO of the company yesterday at 10am. One hour later she was given the job!

We are so thrilled for her! This kid has worked solidly for the past 3 years, living away from home, family and friends but has excelled at her course. This is the pay-off! We hope it is a job she enjoys - from what she has seen so far (on the whirlwind tour of the office and staff) she said it has a lovely feel to it and the staff seem really friendly. She starts in 2 weeks!

Well done, Kirby - we are so proud and love you so much!

  9. Congratulations to your beautiful daughter Joolz. I absolutely understand why you are so proud of her much deserved success. I'm encouraging my son to keep at it - he is past the halfway mark of his technology degree. They (OUA) put up the cost of the units recently and he was reconsidering but he has achieved such good grades thus far we want him to keep going and finish. He is super busy as his web design business is flourishing and he has a sideline business selling soap but as your daughter has found out - the hard work pays off. I'm sure she will be an asset to her new employer. Hope you celebrated too!
