Spring garden...

Considering the neglect that my back garden gets, it's sprouting out nicely! The catmint has renewed in a nice green mound. There are a few weeds that need pulling but I reckon I am about 2 weeks away from lots of roses blooming.

This is my McLeod's Daughters rose - lovely glossy leaves and lots of buds.

This healthy specimen and those around it are WEEDS that I still haven't pulled. Maybe this afternoon, after work. We have Daylight Savings now so there is an extra hour of daylight. Maybe...

  1. I think the rain has done a lot of good for all our gardens, it's been quite a change to see everything green and growing. I have a fair crop of weeds as well, and I should get weeding while the temperatures are still nice but as you say maybe ..

  2. Your border garden is looking great Joolz - I can imagine it is going to look even lovelier in a few weeks when those roses bloom. I am just glad you are not afraid to photograph your garden with the weeds in place. I know how much work is ahead as it warms up - if only sunshine were selective and only made the flowers bloom and the veggies grow!
