Saturday Chores...

I've got a bit of house work to do today - I will update as I get the jobs done!
~
~
Clean top of the fridge - the tallest person in the house reminded me that it needs doing! Erk!
(in his defence - he did offer to do it but ... it's done now!)
~
Strip our bed, wash sheets and remake - done!
~
Wipe out/scrub main bathroom shower - done!
~
Re-organise my clothes for winter in walk-in-robe - done!
~
Iron school uniform - 3 shirts, skirt and wool jumper ( I washed them all last night!) - done!
~
I looked out my laundry window and decided that it needed cleaning - right now!
~
That's better!
~
Sort recyclable bottles to take to depot today - done and $43.10 richer! :)
~
2 other loads washing done and drying - done!
~~~~~~~~
Vacuum through house & mop kitchen floor - now a Sunday chore - done!
Definitely time for a wine! Gus is cooking dinner, thank goodness!
~
Cheers - Joolz
  1. Not that I'm wanting to compete (REALLY!)... but I think my list is longer... unfortuantely.
  2. I'll be doing much the same this morning Joolz. I want to give our spare room the once over. Hopefully Soldier Boy will be up for a visit this weekend he's been away a bit of late. Hope you fit in something enjoyable besides housework this weekend.
  3. If it was me Joolz, I would be telling/asking the tallest person in the house to do the job, much easier for them, they can see what they're doing lol. Isn't it funny how we all have our routines for housework, I just have washing and folding to do today. Enjoy your time once you have finished your jobs.
  5. Top marks; your home looks spotless. What a bugger it doesn't stay like that for weeks on end.
  9. My goodness, you have been busy.
    I have a suggestion for anyone who makes a comment to you that some cleaning or other chore needs to be done around the house. My response is, "I see that! I can use all the help I can get." It's amazing. You get help you never thought you might and the inspectors stop looking for things for YOU to do! ;)
    Hugs,
    Lois
