Cloudy skies and Oatmeal cookies

I came home at lunch time and hung out a load of towels. It is really hot and humid today (around 30C) and we have been invaded by these huge fluffy clouds that just seem to hang in the huge blue sky...

They give the sky so much depth - if it wasn't so hot I could have stayed out watching them for ages.

When I got home from work tonight, I whipped up a batch of these yummy Apricot & Sultana Biscuits from taste.com. I've made them before and with this batch, I used dried cranberries instead of sultanas and oops, I forgot to put in the 2 tablespoons of water (it's not listed in the ingredients) - but they turned out just fine - nice and chewy! Give them a go - they are great for lunch boxes.
~Gus is away so it's "please yourself" for dinner - Chow Mein (leftover from last night) for me and Brianna is having baked beans on toast.
~
I'd better get the towels off the line, I think we are in for some thundery showers tonight.
