Day 8 - Weigh-in day...

I was very happy this morning. I weighed myself when I got back from my walk and I have lost 1.5 kgs (3.3 lbs) after one week. I think this is a good healthy loss for me.

Tonight for dinner I think I will try Annette's Marsala Chicken which has a nice mushroom marsala creamy sauce and served with lots of vegetables. I hope I can get another walk in this afternoon if the rain holds off. Okay, I'm off to do some housework!

  2. Sounds like your doing well Joolz. I always find it hard to make myself drink enough water in the winter time when it's cold. Summertime I never have a problem downing 8 glasses.
That bread does look good. I love bread with grain & seeds beats stodgy, doughy white bread any day, except when I have vegemite. Gotta have white bread and butter then.

  6. Thanks for all the encouragement, Ladies.

Caroline, the Baker's Delight Cape Seed bread is really yummy and it sure is keeping me, er, regular! And yes, fresh white bread with vegemite and butter... oh, so good!

Thanks Tracie - you won't regret buying it.

Tania, thanks! I was happy with the first weeks weight loss.

Chocolate Cat - the new book is chock full of hints and tips as well as some really good recipes.

Linda - all this food is low in fat because the bad fats have been replaced with good fats and or no fat replacements. The books are called Symply Too Good To Be True and they are!

    Cheers - Joolz
