Cooler here...

(Black Magic Agapanthus)
We have been enjoying cooler weather here which makes living much easier.

Monday nights dinner was Bruschetta Chicken from Mennonite Girls Can Cook. A very easy dish and it was tasty. You could prepare this at lunch time or late afternoon, refrigerate then pop in the oven to bake when needed.

We've been enjoying those Cranberry & Apricot Oatmeal cookies...
~
Tuesday's dinner was Satay Pork & Veal Lettuce Cups - although we used flour tortillas to wrap the tasty mince, lettuce, cucumber, cheese and sour cream in. Really good.

Tonight I am going to make homemade pasta sheets and try Chicken, Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli - wish me luck!

  3. I've almost forgotten what "warm" is like. We've been having a mini heaqtwave of just above freezing this past week and yesterday's 7* was quite heady!

  4. The colour on that Black Magic agapnathus is absolutely stunning, makes me want to get down to the garden shop and see if they have any for sale

  5. Wow - that agapanthus is beautiful! Specially that darker one.

Just stopped by to meet you and say thanks for your sweet comments about my little farmhouse kitchen. Looks like I need to grab your recipes and try 'em at the farmhouse. Those look great - we love anything chicken. I will have to try that! Thanks again! Vickie

  6. Joolz! You are the Queen of the kitchen I am telling you! All of your meals and goodies looks so scrumptious! My hubby would think he had died and gone to heaven if I cooked for him each night. I have lots of recipe books and cut outs that I think I am going to try and never do! AHHHH I wish I had the wit to be daring and just try! love your pics of the flowers and sunset! hugs and smiles across the miles!
